IFTA believes in uplifting and applauding the talent and It was this vision that led to the inception of India’s 1st People’s Choice Awards. The aim is to spot and award talents from the world of Film, Television, OTT and music industries.
The market research team at IFTA creates nominations in different categories based on their deep research and analysis. A major chunk of their research is a byproduct of public preferences. The lists are then made public for people to vote for their favourite artists among the provided categories. A winner is then announced in each category who manages to score the highest.
The director, as the name suggests, directs a crew of around 300 people and monitors everything before the action. Lighting, camera settings, positioning of actors all these things are double-checked by the director. When the camera rolls, the actors’ performances are only green-lit by the director. A director nods in agreement or disagreement for every shot.
To celebrate a tedious job like direction, IFTA is actually not doing much but just facilitating these amazing talents with a token of appreciation.
