Television hosting is not just limited to reading a teleprompter solely. The entire mood of the show or the event depends on how the host speaks those lines and engages the listeners. A host’s job is to create an entertaining ambiance so that sitting for long hours doesn’t seem like a job at a stretch.
This is one such category that many awards shows skip, but IFTA understands and appreciates the talents involved in making our prime time worth watching. After deep market research based on the likability of the viewers, IFTA has created a list of potential nominees and the result is all set to be announced based on Public votes.

Viewer engagement, entertainment, hosting style, and coherence are some of the factors that our research team looks at while creating the list of nominees.
With people constantly making shifts to the big OTT platforms it is becoming hard for reality shows to sustain. The hosts, especially the popular faces have made sure that the television experience is not fading away anytime soon. These hosts make sure that every bit of their one or one-and-a-half-hour episode remains entertaining.
Cheers to all the hosts for making our black screens full of joy and binding our families together.
